As of October 2022, Speak Poetry in San Mateo County will be administered by The Mana Creative Futures Project, an initiative of Paloma Press, fiscally sponsored by Independent Arts & Media (IAM). MANA aims to support, celebrate, mentor, and partner with culture makers in our area to expand our understanding of what it means to reimagine all of our possibilities.
We believe our mission is strongly aligned with IAM’s mission of stewarding and empowering independent art and media projects that foster community and civic participation, and facilitate cultural engagement and free expression. For over 20 years, for more than 200 organizations and projects, IAM has been a partner in bringing powerful works to our wider community.
