Poem
WHEN MY SISTER SPEAKS AGAIN
When my sister speaks
again
it is unexpected,
lilacs blooming from
acorn shells.
I am startled,
transfixed and
receive gossamer
petals
lavender scented
with
soft palms open
not wanting to blow
the words
away.
